• Are you pet-friendly?

  We most certainly are! All our parks will welcome your pets, and most have pleasant dog-walking areas.
  

• What are the annual running costs for each UK Leisure Park?

  Running costs vary from park to park, depending on location. However, we are competitively priced and understand that our park residents are budget-conscious. We are very transparent with our prices, and each park’s Sales Manager will be able to give you a copy of the running costs in writing. There are no hidden costs.

• Will I need to appoint a solicitor or arrange a surveyor?

  No, you will not need a solicitor or surveyor to complete your purchase. The buying process is very straightforward. Once we receive your funds in full, we will hand over the keys and ownership documents, and you can start enjoying your holiday home.

• How long does it take to make a purchase?

  We recommend you book a viewing at one or more parks of your choice. The Sales Manager will offer a guided tour of the park, talk you through everything you need to know, and show you a range of caravans and lodges which meet your budget. Our experienced teams will seek to find the home that meets all your personal requirements. There’s no need to worry about pressurised sales practices at UK Leisure Parks – you are in the driver’s seat. If you select a suitable home, you may decide to secure it by paying a deposit, usually of around 10 per cent of the total purchase price. We can then move as quickly as you like – we can have your home ready within 14 days in most instances. Of course, in most cases, it may take longer than 2 weeks to ensure your funds are readily available. Just keep your Sales Manager informed of the date you’d like to move in.

• What happens if I have any after-sales issues?

  When buying a new home, your caravan or lodge will be sold under a manufacturer’s warranty. Whilst we will inspect the home on arrival at the park, some snagging jobs may not be apparent until you move in. We will report any jobs to the manufacturer on your behalf and keep you updated with the progress on these jobs. If you opt for a pre-loved model, then rest assured, we carefully prepare these models in advance of sale in order that they may be sold as seen.

• What happens if I’m new to the area and need help finding my way around?

  When you move in, our teams will carry out a professional handover, showing you how everything works. You will be supplied with all the information you need about your chosen park. In terms of the local area, our friendly reception teams will be a font of knowledge, tips and advice. This is the best bit – discovering all the amazing places and events on offer. We’ve hand-selected each of our parks based on their individual and unique locations.

• Can my friends and family visit and stay over?

  Yes, of course. You own the property outright and may have guests whenever you like without having to inform the office (unlike many other parks).

• What happens if my circumstances change and I need to leave the park?

  Most caravan and lodge owners stay with us for many years. However, we appreciate that circumstances can change, and you may one day decide to leave the park. In these instances, we will work with you to sell your holiday home privately – or we may indeed decide to buy your property back. If your home is being sold privately, you choose the asking price. If we want to buy your property, we will offer you a market value price. You will be looked after and supported from the day you decide to join us right up until the time you leave.
